Malnutrition in 3rd world countries:

In 2010, I founded Bock Integrative Medicine and Bock Nutritionals. For more than three decades I have dealt with complex medical problems by integrating “alternative” modalities with conventional medicine into a comprehensive integrative medicine approach.

After 30 years of medicine and extensive clinical research, I undertook the formulation of high quality supplements that would help tackle gut health, and complex multisymptom, multisystem disorders that I was seeing every day in my practice. These include immune disorders, chronic or recurrent infections, and autoimmune disorders; chronic fatigue; fibromyalgia; Lyme disease and other tick borne co-infections; as well as multiple childhood conditions, including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, asthma, allergies and infectious triggered autoimmune brain inflammation, including PANS/PANDAS. I’ve been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to help thousands of incredible and resilient adults and children throughout more than three decades.

Now, being able to work with my son, on extending health to 3rd world countries, is truly a treasure.

Jordan's Story

In 2018, while working in NYC- I started a non-profit to help children from the orphanage I’m from in Medellin, Colombia. In addition to starting the non-profit and with support from my parents, I hired a search agency to find my birth family. In only a couple of weeks, my birth family was found and wanted to meet me.

Speaking with my birth mom, I heard the hardships she faced as a single mother with little financial resources. It seemed like an impossible situation that I would become a healthy baby, but by a miracle she fought to get me the prenatal and medical care I needed and didn’t take no for an answer. Thankfully this theme carried into my family and my parents would place an emphasis, eating healthy, exercising regularly, and on taking my nutritional supplements.
After the trip I came back and started to do extensive research on children who didn’t have the resources they needed to become healthy. I saw the staggering statistics of malnutrition in third world countries and realized I needed to do something. Everyone deserves to be healthy, and everyone deserves a fighting chance.

Inspired by my family and Tom’s shoes, I had an idea to partner with my dad and proposed that for each supplement we sold a percentage would be given back to feed children and families who were malnourished. Since this idea, I have been helping to run Bock Nutritionals while also taking the supplements for my immune system, gut health, and before my work outs!
